It can be hard to figure out which ones to go to.

Some attractions are actually off of the Clifton Hill road, but they are right beside or behind it.

The hill of entertainment!
You could literally spend the whole day at Clifton Hill and never be bored!
Between the people watching, restaurants, games, attractions, shows, food, etc… there is a ridiculous amount of things to do in Niagara Falls, specifically at Clifton Hill.
The good news is that there are so many hotels around Clifton Hill, so you don’t have to feel rushed to check everything out in 1 day.
There are even some hotels right on Clifton Hill. Another great street that is close to the action, but not on Clifton Hill is Murray Street.

Ok, let’s get started with some of the most interesting and unique
Clifton Hill Attractions in Niagara Falls
You can check out where all of these places are on this map. You can also find a hotel nearby too.
Ripley's Believe it or not
This is a fun and interactive place where you can pose with statues that show unbelievable and unique oddities and facts.
Actually, there are more than 600 different exhibits to see, so I think it’s definitely worth it. They are all true and were discovered by Mr. Ripley. He first started his mission to find these interesting and unique things in 1918.
He actually had a travel journal where he wrote down all the odd and interesting things he encountered. Maybe if he was around now, he would be a travel blogger too?? 😉
There’s this cool tunnel that you can go through called the “Vortex Tunnel”.
It really plays tricks on your mind, you feel like you’re spinning or going to fall, but apparently you’re not at all.
There’s so many interesting things to be amazed by, it’s worth the visit, and the interesting selfies that you can take.

So many fun and interesting opportunities!
The Crystal Caves
The Crystal Caves is a mirror maze.
You have to wear these thin plastic gloves so that you don’t get fingerprints all over the mirrors.
When you go through the maze make sure you put your hands out in front of you so that you don’t walk face first into a mirror.
Obviously, the goal is to find your way out of the maze obviously, but every mirror looks like a new path, so you can’t tell what is a reflection and what is really a path.
Sometimes it feels like you’re going to bump right into yourself! 🤣
This maze could take you 10 minutes or it could take you quite a bit longer. It really depends on your pace and your luck at picking the correct path to get out of the maze.
When you go by the Crystal Caves you are greeted by a talking vulture!

Rainforest Cafe
The Rainforest Cafe has a such a chill and interesting atmosphere.
You will see a whole bunch of rainforest animals in there (none are real, just putting that out there, just in case) – like swinging monkeys, fluttering butterflies, slithering snakes, roaring gorillas, ear-flapping elephants and more!
So, you will hear the sounds of the animals and the weather of the rainforest.
My favourite is when it’s night time and you see the stars in the sky on the ceiling of the restaurant.
Next, a thunderstorm starts. The lights are flashing like thunder, you hear the rain pouring, and the animals calling. It’s very neat!
There’s also a huge aquarium, but this time they are real fish, not like the other animals in this rainforest. 😆
This is not just a cafe, it’s actually a full restaurant with a bar. They have stuff like burgers, pastas, sandwiches, seafood… They have a kid’s menu and a drink menu too.
Also, there’s a gift shop where you can buy plush rainforest animals, mugs, and other souvenirs. I bought these nice tall glasses with the logo on them.
I think that the Rainforest Cafe is a great place to check out on Clifton Hill. I would recommend it for lunch and to enjoy the ambience of it all.
Check out more details at Rainforest Cafe.
The Great Canadian Midway
The Great Canadian Midway is just good ole fun!
I mean, who doesn’t love ski ball! There are arcade games, games of skill like shooting hoops…
Actually, there’s such a large variety of games to play here like:
- Jurassic Park
- Transformers
- Car racing
- Space Invaders
- Air hockey
- Guitar Hero
- much more!
There are also some games for younger children too.
It’s actually 70,000 square feet full of games!
There is also the Ghost Blasters Dark Ride. This ride is like a slow roller coaster type ride. There are black lights and it’s somewhat dark. You get to use a lazer gun that you use to shoot all the ghosts and creatures that you see while you’re on the ride. Children must be 42″ to go on this ride.
You can use American or Canadian money to buy your tokens.
The Great Canadian Midway is run through a token system, different games have different amount of tokens to play them. When you’re done, you win tickets from all of the different types of games.
There is a prize desk that you bring all of your tickets to. You can exchange them for a prize. The prizes all have a value listed by how many tickets to get them.
You can check out more details at The Great Canadian Midway
Upside Down House
Would you like to walk on a ceiling? 🙃 Here’s your chance!
Here is another mind-bending attraction! It’s just on a side street from Clifton Hill.
Not too much to explain here, it’s exactly as it sounds, the house is upside down and you can go in it.
Yes, that means everything, the tables, beds, toilet, sink, chairs – everything!
It brings questions to my mind like if I wanted to wash my hands how exactly would that go down… pun intended. 😉
When you walk in the house, it kinda makes you feel off balance or mixed up.
They have some signs and mini challenges on the walls that you can read and try to do.
Imagine the captions that you could put on your photos from the Upside Down House! I’m head over heels for you…turn that frown upside down… etc… lol! 🙃
Anyways, it’s very unique Clifton Hill attraction worth checking out.
Check out more details at Upside Down House.
Niagara Speedway Go Karts
This track is extra cool because parts of it are a raised track which means you have a great view!
It’s actually 4 levels high. Think of a parking garage where you circle around to go up a level, but much more fun and faster too!
The maximum speed for the go karts is 32 km per hour.
You can see the SkyWheel, the dinosaurs and parts of Clifton Hill!
Each go kart is for 2 people and have safety belts that go over the chest and shoulders. You also are given a helmet that you have to wear.
Be aware of the height restrictions. A good point to know is that the restrictions are actually different depending upon if you’re driving the go kart or if you’re a passenger. The driver must be 18 years old to drive with someone under 18 years old.
There are a lot of fun turns, curves and bumps in the road. There is even a hair pin turn, so get those pro driving skills ready!
You can check out more at Niagara Speedway Go Karts.
Dinosaur Adventure Golf
Here you will get to mini-put beside the SkyWheel and some other attractions.
You will be surrounded with prehistoric creatures like mammoths and many types of dinosaurs.
You play 18 holes where you are surrounded by dinosaurs that can be up to 30 feet tall, ponds, and even a volcano!
It’s a great spot to take photos where it looks like the dinosaur is grabbing you or running towards you.
This attraction is all outdoors, so I would recommend dressing for the weather.
Also, check when you are going. It’s opened when the weather is better to be playing mini-putt outside.
You see the SkyWheel right beside you and there’s a Tim Horton’s there too.
Who doesn’t love a fun round of mini putt!
To check out more see Dinosaur Adventure Golf.
Niagara SkyWheel
I personally like going on the SkyWheel at night. This is why I have darker photos here.
There are lights on the SkyWheel and you can see the Falls and the lights of the bright and fun attractions on Clifton Hill too. In case you didn’t know, the Canadian falls, called the Horseshoe falls are illuminated, so it’s extra cool at night.
If you go on the Niagara SkyWheel during the day, you have a great view of the Dinosaurs statues and the volcano from the Dinosaur Adventure Golf attraction.
If you are afraid of heights, or need to know… here’s a little info.
The Niagara SkyWheel is 175 feet tall!
You go into a fully-enclosed area where you are seated.
There are windows on all sides and seats facing both ways.
You can get some great pictures from up there! You will get to enjoy both the Canadian and American falls.
To see more details check out Niagara SkyWheel.
